#LONGESTDAY FUNDRAISER
JUNE TH, 2018. 9 am

It was another successful year!

With the attendance over 100 people, we raised almost $3,000 for the Saint James Music Academy.

Arlene, Dee Dee & Mel were on site to talk a little bit about Saint James Music Academy. SJMA feeds, inspires and provides emotional support for children and young people in “Canada’s poorest postal code.” It is a great privilege to be able to support this tremendous organization.

It was another clear day with a breeze to keep us cool while we ran or walked out the jetty.

Marie starting things off with a yoga stretch. The event wouldn’t be the same without her. Thank you for your support the past 10 years.

Constantine (age 6) ran his first 5 km and said it was the best day of his life! Our fastest male runner came all the way from Mexico City for our event! And our fastest women runner was a first time attendee.

Liza and Manya our fastest walkers were also part of the Forbes Flyers, the team spirit award winners.

I’d like to thank everyone who has attended our event every year. And thank you for helping us grow and have a blast raising money for such a good cause.
